WEEKEND REWIND

I had a fun-filled weekend, packed with something to do every day. My husband and I have been trying to save money lately so we've been staying home and have been watching DVD's that we own that I've never watched! I got home on Friday after work exhausted and took a nap. The only reason I woke up is because my lovely sister called me. My wedding song was playing on the radio and she called to let me know she was thinking of me and my wedding day. How sweet is that?!? :) So after that call, I was awake! So I finally watched "A Time to Kill." It was an awesome movie!

Saturday morning was our regular cleaning day. Our apartment is now spick and span! Then we drove all the way out to the city of Fontana for a birthday party. The drive was long and the weather was hot and sticky but the houses out there are incredible! We had a great time.

That night, Gerric had a Poker night planned at his brother-in-law's house. I tagged along since my sister-in-law hired a friend who is a masseuse to come over. So while the boys played Texas Hold 'Em, the girls were getting pampered with massages. It was perfect.

Sunday we went to another birthday get-together at the park. After we left there, we drove around looking at different neigborhoods and ended up at our second open house! We immediately fell in love with it but once we saw the asking price, we knew we were in over our heads....$899,000! Um, I'd say that's a little over our budget! So after being disappointed with that, we went grocery shopping and headed home after that. We saw "American Beauty" from our collection of DVD's. Another great movie!

Then I called it a night. What a fun weekend!
