GIRLFRIENDS ARE FOREVER

I had the pleasure of having dinner with Kay last night at the Elephant Bar in Torrance. I had such a great time as we caught up and shared laughs over our meals. She told me about the call she received telling her about her father and she also shared the last conversation she had with him a week before his heart attack. It was hard to fight back the tears. I can't even imagine. But I admire her for being as strong as she has been. Please take the time to read her recent post about her father's funeral. I was taken aback by the beautiful traditions and was grateful to her for sharing something so intimate with us. I am so thankful to have her in my life. She's been extremely supportive in every hardship I've had this past year so I only hope I have done the same for her.

Tonight I'm finally getting my hair done. I don't know if it's the stress of the year or just my age but I started having grey hairs! *sigh* so depressing. So I'm hoping that after today's hair appt, I will feel refreshed and beautiful again. :)
