Preschool Daze!

Dearest Camila,

Tomorrow you start Preschool…preschool! I am so emotional about it yet I know it will be so good for both you and me. Although I’m sure there will be tears (from both of us), I know in my heart that you will be ruling that place in no time. I can’t wait for us to be in a routine where you look forward to seeing your friends twice a week. My heart is full knowing that you have your wonderful big sister there to help ease you into this new part of your life. She’s so excited to have you there, Cami. And I’m so happy you will have each other there throughout the Summer.

What else can I say about you my sweet, sensitive girl? You are Mommy’s shadow…sometimes a little too much. You want to be held by me 90% of the time. This is also why I know school will be good for you…as much as I love how much you need me, I also want to give you wings to fly. To be independent and be able to conquer the world. Because that’s what you and Abbie will do…reach for the stars and conquer the world. At least that’s what my mommy heart wishes for you both.

You love your sister more than anything. You love watching Moana and your Spanish class songs. You still love Winnie and carry him everywhere you go. You love going to Mom and Abuelo’s. I just hope you’re both ok during this transition. I know Mom and Abuelo will miss you so much but they will still have you 3 days a week.  You have a personality that lights any room up and when you laugh, like when you truly laugh so hard, my goodness; it’s the best sound in the world.

So tomorrow is our big day sweetheart. I pray both of us are ok…especially you. We love you so much, Camila.
