Another weekend passes me by. I think we all wait SO long for them to get here and when they finally do, they go by in the blink of an eye. So here we are...another Monday. So depressing. I'm not a Monday person at all. I had a pretty relaxing weekend all in all. We had plans to attend a wedding reception on Saturday so I had my feet treated to a pedicure on Friday night. It was great and I liked the girl that did it. On the way home, I picked up one of those new Asian salads from Mickey D's and ate at home with my hubby. It was actually quite delicious! I had thought before that McDonald's would never be good at anything else but making hamburgers and french fries but this salad I would actually go back for! The rest of the night was pretty mellow. Saturday we woke up and got ready to go to this lunchtime reception at the Embassy Suites in Downey. We ended up having a great time. The bride and groom looked so cute together and it brought back some nice memories of our wedding day which is coming up on 8 months ago. After the reception, Gerric and I went home to change quickly and headed to McKenna's On The Bay in Long Beach to go see my girlfriend's father perform with his band. We ended up having a great time. I had a sip of her watermelon martini and it was one of the best I've tried! After that, my husband had a poker night with the boys so he dropped me back off at home and he went out for the night. I was asleep by 10pm. Sunday was very mellow. I made my hubby an omelette and he went off with the boys to go play some b-ball. That gave me some time to do my own thing. I showered and picked up some things at South Coast plaza. I went to Target afterwards and went home for the rest of the day. My husband was home by then and we just relaxed the rest of the evening. We watched two season finales: Extreme Makeover: Home Edition and Desperate Houusewives which was SO good. I can't wait until next season! Until the next time...
