'TIS THE SEASON

Okay so maybe I'm not meant to be a blogger. I always imagine that I will write great posts at least every other day but after a while, I just tend to get lazy!!! Anyhow, Christmas is just around the corner so with year end at work and Christmas shopping, I have been pretty busy. I have a new assistant starting today. In fact, she should be at orientation all day today. I expect she'll be here right around 2pm. We'll see how it goes. Lord knows how it ended with the last one so I'm hoping this one will stick around.

Last Thursday we had our company Christmas dinner at Bridges Restaurant on La Cienaga in LA. It was a good time but going into work on Friday morning was painful. I had fun though. I just wish I could've brought my husband along with me but since no one was allowed to bring a date, I went solo. Free food and open bar is always a good time!

We also went to Las Vegas a couple weeks ago with some friends. My girlfriend got tickets to the Billboard Music Awards and invited Gerric and myself. That was also fun. Here we are before the awards show...

Lastly, we got our Christmas tree last weekend. It's always fun choosing one together. This year, we got a smaller tree than last years but the pine smell is a lot stronger. I love it. This picture is not lit since I took it during the day...

So that's when I've been doing. I can't wait until Christmas to see what Santa brought me this year! See you all again in 2007!
