A BIG MILESTONE TODAY!
My sister just called me and shared the news that Henry passed his driving test today and is officially licensed again! I spoke to him briefly and he sounded so happy. I am so, so grateful for how far Henry has come. He went back to work last week after 7 months and is already back into his normal routine. This year has certainly been the toughest for us yet with us hopefully receiving a new addition to our family at the end of the year and with Henry doing as well as he's doing, I have this feeling that the year is going to end on a high note. I see the light at the end of the tunnel!

Wonderful news! I have been a bad commenter lately, but I have been reading and I had to take a minute to give Henry a big cheer.
I'm with you on ending '07 on a high note. We all deserve it.
That's awesome! I remember how upset my dad was when he was told he couldn't drive anymore. It really takes away your sense of power and freedom.
high note it is, sounds good!!!
Thank God!!! I'm so happy for your family...it's the small things, right? xoxo!
Congrats to Henry!! Sometimes we take such 'little' things like driving for granted... and to the people (and their families) who have an illness like cancer, these little things mean so much more.. i remember when my mom was sick, it was such a great thing having her hair back, she could have a haircut, get it styled, not wear a hat to hide anything.. it was just plain and simple GREAT to have hair.
xoxo Janice
