IT'S THE GREAT PUMPKIN, CHARLIE BROWN

I hope everyone had a great Halloween night! Gerric and I had a great time at my sister's. I went trick-or-treating with my nephews and saw a lot of cute kiddies in their costumes. They had a lot of kids in their neighborhood so they went through loads of candy. It was all quite fun! We ended the night with some pies from Polly's and then we each went our own way. When we got home, we stayed up to watch It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown . That Charlie Brown theme song always puts a smile on my face. Overall, we had a nice Halloween.

I can't believe we're in November now. Where did the year go by? I haven't hidden the fact that I'm actually anxious for this year to be over so to the year 2008, I say...BRING IT ON!

Henry started a new round of chemo last night so I'm praying that everything goes well. I really hate cancer. With all the medical breakthroughs we've made in the recent years and all the technology we have these days, why oh why haven't they found a cure for cancer yet? I don't get it. It's taken way too many lives and it's not fair.

Anyhow, better get back to work now.
