Martha Stewart’s got nothin’ on
Kay. I had the pleasure of attending Kay and her hubby, Steve’s holiday party last night. It was nothing short of fabulous. My husband had to work last night so I went solo but never fell short of great company all night. Kay always manages to have the best parties. She was born to entertain. From her festive do-it-yourself decorations (no one but
her could make a wreath out of bushes and have it turn out AMAZING), to her wonderful menu…it truly was a perfect evening.
What made it even more wonderful was that I got to spend some time with
Nanette and her husband. They are adorable together! Having seen and heard so much about Brent from Nanette’s blog, I felt like I had known both of them forever, yet it was only the second time I had met Nanette and the first meeting her hubby. They are a great couple.
Thank you to Kay and Steve for hosting a great party. I am honored to be friends with them. They even had Santa ride down their street!

In other exciting news, my sister called me today after her weekly doctor visit and she’s already 3 centimeters dilated!!! That means that my nephew could be here as early as this weekend! I’m so incredibly excited. Please think good thoughts that he arrives safely and soundly in their arms.
Thanks to everyone for your supportive comments on the home-buying front. I really appreciate them and it helps to know that I am not alone in this. Have a great weekend!
