Once again, I've had a hard time keeping up with my little 'ol blog. Alot has gone on the past couple weeks.
The Good
- Met up with some girlfriends for dinner a couple of weeks ago. Got to see my friend's little boy Micah. He is too precious for words.
- Participated in the March of Dimes walk for the 2nd year in a row in honor of my nephew Diego. We all finished the 5+ miles and to make things even better, Henry was one of the first in our group to complete it. He's awesome. :) Adam even had his own little onesie made in memory of his brother...he looked adorable. 
- Celebrated my husband's birthday with some close friends and family. We had a great time.
- Officially closed escrow on May 5th! We had the final walk-thru on May 7th and hope to be handed the keys by next Friday. Yipee! It all seems to surreal. We're actually homeowners!!!
- Went away to Texas for 4 days with my girlfriend Kelly to visit our very good friend Jessica, who moved out there with her husband and daughter last year. We had the BEST time. I've been having a really hard time at work again (surprise, surprise) so it was perfect timing to get away for a few days and have some girl time. There's nothing like spending some quality time with your girlfriends. :) One thing is for sure...Texas has some AMAZING BBQ!
The Not So Good
- I have a horrible cold right now. Might've caught a bug on the flight back from Texas. Might've been the change in weather. Whatever the case, I feel horrible and hope to get better very soon.
- I don't know if this whole house-buying thing hasn't really hit us or something but we haven't even started packing! I was home sick on Monday and thought I'd take advantage and start a little packing...um, I barely mustered up the engery to pack up ONE box. ONE. And the worst part is, it was nothing important and it made me realize that I have a lot of sh*t to pack! So I better get on the ball...and fast! Hopefully we can really make a dent into our packing this weekend.
- My dad had a minor surgery on Thursday. Thankfully, everything went well. He just has to rest up now...doctor's orders.
**update** We've managed to pack most of our kitchen stuff but we still have a long way to go.
That's about it. Until my next post...wish us luck with the move!

Ugh, moving totally sucks! It's something I always procrastinate on. Thank god for h, who is always making lists and sets schedules for us. He practically has to force me to get my assigned rooms done. Ugh. I'm not moving again for a LONG time!
The walk sounds great. And so does your trip to Texas. I love me some bbq!
