SAYING GOODBYE TO 2008...AND WHAT A YEAR IT HAS BEEN

It's the last day of the year. Although welcoming a new year is always a little solemn for me, I am embracing 2009 and saying...BRING IT ON! I think it will be an amazing year. I've never been one to make a list of resolutions but I thought that if I wrote them down, it would make me stick to them. So for your reading pleasure, my resolutions for 2009:

To get in shape (Surprise! Surprise!)
To update my blog more often (or at least try!)
To eat healthier
To spend more time with my nieces and nephews
To become a better cook (or at least try!)
To spend more time with my parents
To read more books

There you have it.

I was reminiscing about the year today and started thinking about all that has happened:

- JANUARY - We officially started house-hunting…and the hunt was on!
- FEBRUARY - One year anniversary since my nephew Diego earned his angel wings
- MARCH - I turned 30!
- APRIL - One year anniversay of Henry's diagnosis…and still kicking butt!
- MAY - Flew up to Texas with my girlfriend Kelly to visit our friend Jessica; We moved into our first house
- JUNE - Had our 1st mortgage payment - OUCH
- JULY - Went up to Reno to visit my best friend Coral and her husband Rigo
- AUGUST - Went to San Diego with my husband's family and hosted the first event at our new house ~ Kay's Baby Shower
- SEPTEMBER - We celebrated our 3 year wedding anniversary
- OCTOBER - My niece Bianca turned 15 and we celebrated at her Quinceanera; I went to to Panama on a business trip
- NOVEMBER - Celebrated Kay's Birthday at Hollywood Park with Raphaella in tow; Had a lot to be thankful for on Thankgiving
- DECEMBER - My nephew Adam turned 1; first holiday season at our house

I hope 2009 only gets bigger and better with each passing month.

Happy New year everyone!
