NO PAIN, NO GAIN
I started going to a personal trainer a few months before my wedding. Although I didn't exactly reach my ideal goal, I felt like it really paid off. I was happy with the way I looked on my wedding day and I ended up losing about 6 pounds. I've never been on the "heavy" side but I've also never been toned and fit. I love good food way too much for that. I thought that after my wedding day, I would be able to keep up my weight and continue working out. But after quitting the personal trainer, enjoying good food for 8 days on the island of Aruba during our honeymoon and just being married, I gained those 6 pounds I lost back quickly. I told myself I needed to lose those 6 pounds again...but it's been so hard without a motivator such as my wedding day.
I went back to to the trainer about a couple months ago and I seem to be maintaining my weight...not losing. It's really frustrating but my goal is to lose those 6 pounds within the next couple months...so I've still got time. The trainer told me yesterday to try and stay away from any "sweets" since staying away from breads just wasn't working for me. So we'll see how that works. I'll keep you all posted.
