Thank god it's Friday. I have been over this week since it started. First things first, Henry is doing well. He's still at home and still on medications. Because of this, he gets tired throughout the day a lot and has to take naps. Emma (his wife, my sister) takes him on short walks every afternoon to keep his energy level up per doctor's instructions. I joined them on a walk the other day and he was only able to go about 3 blocks before we had to turn around since he gets so tired. But little by little, I'm sure he'll go further. He will start his chemo and radiation next week which is what we've all been dreading. But he's in good spirits. We just ask that everyone continue to pray for him to get him through his treatment.
Henry and Emma's son, Andrew, made his 1st Holy Communion on May 5th. It was already a special occasion but even more so since Henry was able to be there to witness it. Here is Andrew walking back down the aisle looking at his parents:

We had a great day that day. Everyone came over to their house and there was a ton of food. It felt so nice to hear laughter and be with Henry outside of the hospital.
Henry's youngest sister bought the kids a new little furry friend. She's so adorable and they named her Layla. She's a French Poodle Mix and such a cute little puppy. The kids are in love with her. She's the newest addition to their family:

This Sunday is Mother's Day. I hope all the mother's out there have a wonderful day.
